In this prequel I will be reviewing the first (second season depending on how you call seasons) in the Yuuki Yuuna franchise. If you are a fan of magical girls and drama then this could be worth a look as this series has got all the stuff to cater for such fans. Be warned though there are some dark moments particularly at the end which can be a tad depressive.

Episode 11

Things kick off with a flashback from a young Zen who is scolded for not getting a perfect score on the test. When a classmate calls for Zen, this only angers his mother further for she feels betrayed that he would hide such details. Although she allows him to attend, in act of aggression she digs her fingers painfully into his scalp.

In this prequel I will be delving into Jobless Reincarnation which was one of the better anime series of the winter 2021 season. It is one I would recommend for its good storytelling. Be warned thought that our main man Rudeus Greyrat is a bit of a perv so there will be ecchi scenes littered throughout this one. Even if you are not a fan of such things though don't let that deter you from watching this!

Episode 09


Bosse’s spirit who currently resides in the body of Daida stands before Queen Hiling. She is initially reluctant to believe the claim that it is Bosse standing before her but when he decides to snap his massive club into pieces and then crushes it to form a diamond, she grasps the situation for what it is. This huge feat of strength was actually something Bosse originally did to woe Hiling and due to the intimacy of the event is a sure sign that Bosse currently possesses Daida’s body.

Synopsis: In this part of the demon slayer the trio of Tanjirou, Zenitsu and Inosuke join the sound Hashira (elite slayer) Tengen Uzui on a mission to hunt down a powerful demon downtown.

Thoughts: Seeing as this is the third season it is recommended you watch the previous seasons (or at minimum the movie) as jumping into this might not make a whole lot of sense considering a big chunk of the opening one-hour special focuses on the ramifications of Rengoku’s death. Now personally, I found most of this long episode to be a slog with the first half being particular testing.

With the teacher off on maternity leave the replacement is the man Miko met in the park! He introduces himself as Zen Toono. Miko is immediately frightened and can see many evil spirits emanating from the man and even has difficulty looking at the bloke. No such problems for all the other girls who see him as a hottie! Episode 07

We are back with Daida and witness him being forced the elixir of resection. Consuming all its contents, he goes into a spasm and after a brief moment of unconsciousness he awakens. The mirror looks on clearly satisfied with events saying Daida will be a receptible but to what exactly?

Yulia is taking a shower and when she peers over to the hole can see another little critter staring right back at her. Finished S3.... this is actually a pretty good anime in this genre.... other than those moments in which the opponents want to talk a bit before their final attacks... Silly, but everyone does that... so it's hard to complain too much... and in this one, those scenes aren't every episode.... so it's easier to overlook.... this is definitely setup to last a decade like Naruto, which has to be the model for this shonen genre. I think S4 starts...

In this latest prequel watch I will be reviewing one of the most anticipated series of the autumn 2021 season 86. Whilst the series was not a stunner by any stretch of the imagination it does hold enough potential that if its weaknesses are addressed then this could be really strong series. Part 2 is still not done but from what I have seen thus far (seven episodes) it is a noticeable improvement as many of the issues I had with this season are addressed there making this a more worthwhile watch seeing as there is good stuff to follow from here.

We return to the Fortune and Exorcism store and it would seem that our girl of mystery is badgering the old lady to make her apprentice. Despite the girls desperate pleas her wishes are not granted as the old hag refuses to deal with young kids seeing as they have no money.
